In October this year, Vicoola Fashionista, together with WilD’Joya Entertainment, hosted the very first ‘Le’Oscars Red Carpet Charity Gala’. Many fashion labels, entertainers and company sponsors came together and danced, sang and partied with the guests in the spirit of a charitable cause.

Hosted at the Plenty Ranges ARTS and Convention Centre, the evening culminated great entertainment, fashion shows and a dining experience to be enjoyed by all guests. Donations raised by raffle proceeds, fundraising and tin collections went directly in support of Kids with Cancer Foundation, a non-profit Public Benevolent Institution which supports Australian families of children diagnosed with cancer.

The Gala brought together an array of star-studded celebrities, VIPs and special guests, including Celeste Billinge, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and John Carasig, to raise money and support the work of the foundation. Charlene Sotelo, of X-factor fame, hosted the evening and wowed the audience with her vocal performance later in the evening.

The theme of the night was ‘red carpet’ and prizes were awarded for the best dressed. The guests certainly did not disappoint; with many dressing to the theme of glitz and glamour. A pageant on the night invited all female guests an opportunity to be crowned Mz Le’Oscars 2015.

The event was also one which attracted fashion lovers of all ages. Many designers and models volunteered their time and effort. Vicoola Fashionista headlined an extravagant fashion show, exhibiting the work of multiple designers, including her own custom-designed, Vicoola Signature Designer Label Collections.

Other designers included RubySTAR Sexy Designer Wear showcasing her custom dancewear, Mia Sophia Dressing Room with her retail online collection and Fashion Parade as sponsored by Myer.

Plenty of entertainment groups in Melbourne joined in to showcase their talents in support the cause. From the opening act by Eternal Dance Studios, to the mixed martial arts demonstration by Lion Hearts Melbourne, music by Karacruz, acts from Christine Singe as well as Moulin Rouge Dance Production. The night ended with a bang, as Sambasita Productions and Caramba joined forces to bring the best of Rio de Janiero with their spectacular Brazilian samba show.

The beauty of the night was captured by an array of talented photographers and media personnel, including Tacitic Photography, MHB Photography and our very own Media Strikes Back team.

Congratulations to Vicki Popovski and Willy D’Joya for bringing so many people together and creating a successful night for all to remember. Your joint effort has contributed to a remarkable event and demonstrated the philanthropic values of the entertainment and fashion industry.
