After having a passion for pageants since a very young age and Assisting in pageants since 2014. Hung Pham, a 20 year old from Melbourne has recently won the title of Mr Springvale Diamond Australia 2016. Hung will be heading to Queensland in April next year to compete for the title of Mr Diamond Australia and he is hoping his insight to Pageant Knowledge and his Determination will grabbed him the crown for his state.
As part of his fundraising aspects for the compeition. Hung is currently raising money for the Cancer Council of Victoria. He is hoping to raise a good amount for the charity to find a cure for this heartbreaking disease that affects many people throughout their years of maturity. So far, Hung has started his fundraising page and is urging his community to support him reach his fundraising target. The money he raises will go towards Cancer Council Victoria’s lifesaving research, world class cancer prevention programs and support services for people affected by Cancer.
Head of Fundraising and Communication at Cancer Council Victoria Andrew Buchanan said the organisation is thrilled to have such a passionate supporter.
“We work to reduce the impact of all cancers for all Victorians, but it simply isn’t possible without the hard work of people like Hung. Cancer Council Victoria relies on generous donations and passionate fundraisers for more than half of our funding,” he said.
“Cancer affects everyone in some way, with 80 Victorians diagnosed with cancer every day. I hope the community show their support for Hung’s impressive efforts and help him reach his target.”
Hung is hoping to one day be a Confident and Well Spoken Role Model to the younger society out there. He believes that confidence, passion and determination is the key to success and encourages everyone to reach for their dreams. No matter if the dream is little, big or extravagant. “If you put your mind to it, you will achieve it” he says.
